The future of Murphys Yard
Folgate Estates is bringing forward a new masterplan for Murphys Yard.
Murphys Yard has long been part of Kentish Town’s working history. Today, much of the 15-acre site remains inaccessible to the public. We believe it has the potential to contribute more to the wider community – creating a place that supports everyday life while building on its industrial heritage.
We would like to invite you to view our emerging ideas and share your thoughts.
THE STORY SO FAR
Thank you to everyone who has taken part in the Murphys Yard consultation so far.
In June, we shared our early proposals for a new masterplan for the site with local residents, businesses, and community groups at our public drop-in events. In July, we also held a series of smaller workshops to explore different parts of the emerging masterplan in more detail.
We are grateful to everyone who attended an event, took part in a workshop, or completed our survey.
The first phase of consultation has now closed, and we are reviewing all the feedback received. This will help inform the next stage of the proposals and our next phase of engagement in the autumn.
We will share further details about how to get involved closer to the time.
In the meantime, you can continue to view the materials presented during the first phase of consultation on this website.
